Sadly, no reply from Ryan Gentles... yet! I haven't lost hope. I don't have too many brand new updates to give you, so this post will be a some older news that perhaps you didn't know about. Along with some other random stuff.
I, for one, am extremely excited for this to happen: Julian Casablancas will be representing a cologne. The company Azzaro (you may know them from the Enrique Iglesias cologne ads) will be putting out a new product in September 2011 titled "Decibel" and they will be using Julian as the face of their new product. There will be more than just the spray too, expect deodorant, body wash and shampoo. THATS NOT EVEN THE BEST PART!!! Julian will be writing a song to accompany the ad aswell!! Julian Casablancas fans, get STROKED (get it? stoked, stroked?)
More Julian Casablancas news!! Yay!!! There will be a Buddy Holly tribute album called "Rave On" coming out June 28. Julian sings the title track. For those who haven't yet heard it, it's really good! Other artists on the album include The Black Keys, She & Him, Modest Mouse, Florence + the Machine, Paul McCartney, Lou Reed and many more. For you California lucky bums, the Strokes will be playing at KROQ weenie roast in LA on Saturday, and at BFD in Mountainview on Sunday.
