I have some big news,
I talked to Ryan Gentles on the phone today!!!!!!
It was the most amazing 60 seconds of my life, even it consisted mostly of my screaming. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to get a hold of him, I just called the hotel in Hollywood that he's staying at and asked to be connected with him. The conversation was incredible. I flipped out when he said hello and just kept telling him i love you. He was laughing and saying thanks and I told him I love the Strokes and asked if anyone else was there; the answer was no. I had woken him up from his nap so I apologized and he said goodbye. I felt like such a stereotypical screaming-teenage-girl-fan. Feeling bad about being so irritating and not wanting Ryan to think I was an annoying fan, I called back and left a message with the front desk saying sorry I woke you up, I'm a huge Strokes fan, my name is Hannah and my phone number. Lets hope he calls back!!
Shout out to the women at the front desk of the hotel, You are so nice!!!! and my bud Rachel for giving me the name of the hotel there staying at :) and to my pal Celine for the idea of calling <3
